Alginate is a natural, hypoallergenic powder made from algae extract, specially suited for skin contact. Thanks to its moulding properties, you can easily create a precise impression, which you can then fill with plaster for a lasting keepsake or decorative object.
The powder is mixed with water into a firm, flexible mass. The resulting mould is suitable for casting plaster and wax; do not use concrete or resin, as this will render the mould unusable. Please note that only 2 to 3 casts can be made per mould.
