Ghiant H2O Satin Varnish (400 ml) is a water-based varnish designed for the permanent protection of acrylic and oil paintings. It provides the artwork with a satin finish and helps protect the painted surface over the long term.
This H2O varnish is non-yellowing, acid-free, and UV-resistant (sunproof). This makes it ideal for protecting paintings where preserving color and appearance is a priority.
Thanks to its water-based formula, this varnish contains 90% less solvent and 35% less VOC. The spray can be used on surfaces suitable for acrylic and oil paints.
For an even finish, apply the varnish in several thin layers from a distance of approximately 20–30 cm. Allow 8–12 hours of drying time between coats, and let the artwork rest for 24 hours after applying the final layer.
Instructions for use
- Shake the spray can thoroughly before use.
- Use the varnish at room temperature.
- Maintain a spraying distance of approximately 20–30 cm.
- Apply multiple thin layers for an even finish.
- Allow each layer to dry for 8–12 hours before applying the next.
- Let the artwork rest for at least 24 hours after the final layer.
