Ghiant Academy Fixative (500 ml) is a transparent spray designed to protect drawings and artworks, either temporarily or permanently. It is suitable for use with charcoal, pencil, and pastel, helping to prevent the medium from smudging easily.
Academy Fixative is transparent, acid-free, and non-yellowing, ensuring the artwork's appearance is preserved as faithfully as possible. It dries quickly and can be applied in multiple thin layers. The artwork can still be worked on or added to after the fixative has been applied.
In addition to traditional drawing materials, the spray is suitable for use with PanPastel (including on acetate film) and can also be used to protect gouache paintings.
For best results, use the spray can at room temperature. Shake the can well and spray from a distance of approximately 20–30 cm, applying multiple thin layers. Allow each layer to dry thoroughly before continuing work on the artwork.
